I’m looking at building a vintage-ish mountain bike frame , mostly for xc riding . Last I was into tubing on handbuilts it was 853 , is this still so ? I’m not looking for stupid light but want to keep it under 4lbs(19″st17.5 bb-tt)

I am starting bike manufacturing in Italy, and I have been Columbus genetal manager from 2000 to 2002, after been gen. Manager at 3t from 1987 to 1998 and so on.
I am interesting to tubing set to make gravel frameset, do you have such tubing set?

Dear,

I’m strting with a restoration of a 1931 begian super sport bike.
I saw in some brochures I have that the frames of these bikes were made of Reynolds A tube.
I know the 531 came in 1935..
Can you tell me what material the A tube is?
I have some repairs to do on my frame and if it possible it would me nice to know what material the A tube is..
