Hi Michael,
If you are referring to our 953 tubing, then yes, the raw material is sourced from the US and is then drawn and butted in our UK factory. Our 853 and 631 raw material is sourced from Germany and Chromoly is sourced from Taiwan, but all of them are drawn and butted right here in the UK. Hope this helps.

Hi. Where is this tubing made? I seem to remember reading years ago that it was a US product. Have I got that correct? Or is it post processed 8n the UK.

Hi Giuseppe, apologies for the delayed response. Thank you for your kind words! Regarding 953 – The raw material we source to make our tubing is seamed. We don’t have a preference as there are arguments for both seamed (more consistent wall thickness) and not seamed – (removal of a potential weak point at the weld). Both of these points are somewhat redundant as after we have drawn and worked the material the wall thickness is held to a very tight tolerance and the weld line is effectively drawn out. my gratulations, first of all, for Reynolds’s production and relevant quality and performance, for which I am a great estimator.
I world be pleased to know if It Is forseen to produce 953 tubes seamless.
According to my opinion, it would be very appreciated by high-end bycicle frame producers and clients.
