Cotic bike featuring Reynolds 853 wins at Singletrack Reader Awards 2018

Congratulations to the Cotic team, who picked up ‘Best Bike Under £4500″ at the Singletrack Reader Awards 2018.

They were awarded the prize for their Solaris MAX, which features a full front triangle of Reynolds 853 tubing and was previously described in a Singletrack review as “…a cracking bike that I’d have no trouble recommending to anyone in the market for a versatile, trail-friendly hardtail.”

We did it! The #coticSolarisMAX won “Best bike under £4500” at the @singletrackmag awards last night. The bike that was in the running was the gold spec XT / helm build coming in at £2899 but even in platinum build with @canecreekusa #eewings ti cranks it’s still under £4500! “One of the fastest hardtails we’ve tested” say the mag, and we believe them. The bike entered was the gold spec XT / helm build, but the Solaris MAX comes with a range of options – including the opportunity to customise brakes and wheels, or change stem length and handlebars to suit the rider’s preference.

The Singletrack Reader Awards 2018 feature bikes, products, shops, trail centres and more, nominated and voted for by Singletrack readers. In the ‘Bike’ category, the awards are described as “…that bike that is part of you. That is value for money and fits the way you want to ride perfectly…”
