Reynolds Attends First In-person Show Since 2019 – Bespoked 2021 in Harrogate

Bespoke 2021 Show – Reynolds Video

After 2 and a half long years, Reynolds travelled to Harrogate to attend the 2021 Bespoked show in October. Our team had a brilliant time finally meeting customers, frame builders, and cyclists face to face once again. The weekend was filled to the brim with fantastic conversations and stunning bikes, and it was great to get back into ‘show mode’.

Reynolds also took the opportunity to launch a few new projects that we have been working on these last couple of years. It was so encouraging to get feedback and interest from individuals and businesses who attended the show.

3D Printing

Titanium:

To start, some may already know that Reynolds has been providing 3D printed parts, including the 1st generation titanium dropouts. We are now supplying our second-generation titanium dropouts and new yoke. On our stand we also had a stunning frame on display from Isenworks, showcasing our titanium dropouts.

Stainless:

In 2020 Reynolds invested in a Desktop Metals 3D printing system, and have since then been focusing on the designing, developing, and testing processes. We are very excited to announce that we are also launching a range of stainless 3D printed dropouts and our dropped chainstay/yoke for gravel bikes. To showcase these new parts, we also presented a fully ISO tested frame with our new steel dropouts, sent to us from Pedro Sant’Ana.

The stainless dropouts have already been through full ISO testing and the Titanium versions are undergoing testing as we write this. We will have parts available to order and the prices updated in the 2022 price list.

New 853 Gravel Bike Parts

Over the last couple of years, we have been developing several gravel bike parts in 853 steel, which will be launching later this year. These new parts include larger down tubes to increase stiffness, chainstays with increased tyre clearance and seat tubes that are suitable for the new range of dropper seat posts.

We really believe these new parts are the next stage in the evolution of 853. Although it can be seen as a more ‘traditional’ material, as a company Reynolds are still pushing the boundaries of 853 by doing modern products for modern framesets. Stay tuned!
