Andy McKain relives the joys of riding through windy Yorkshire on Reynolds.
‘We were on a 3-day tour of Yorkshire and Teasdale and riding south from Barnard Castle to Skipton and had just climbed out of Greta valley on to Sleightholme Moor. The track was part of the Pennine way and very exposed so we had to battle against a stiff head wind! The route that day took us over some of the Tour de France route highlights including the infamous ‘Buttertubs pass’.
